Terms & Conditions

These are the standard terms on which Prestige Aluminium Systems UK Limited ("we", "us") supplies survey, quotation, supply and installation services. They apply to every customer ("you") unless we agree something different in writing.

1. Quote and survey

We provide a free, no-obligation survey at your property. The written quote we issue afterwards is valid for 60 days from the date of issue and is held to the price stated, save for unforeseen structural issues identified after acceptance (e.g. a defective lintel) which we will notify before incurring any extra cost.

2. Acceptance and deposit

A contract is formed when you sign and return the quotation. A 50% deposit confirms your order. The balance is due on completion (typically within 1–5 days). We do not take a deposit before survey.

3. Lead times and fitting

Most bespoke aluminium projects are completed within 1–4 weeks of order. The exact installation date is confirmed in writing at order.

4. Your obligations

  • Provide safe access to the openings to be worked on.
  • Move curtains, blinds, ornaments and breakables away from the work area.
  • Inform us of any asbestos, lead, or other hazardous materials known to be in the property.
  • Ensure pets and children are kept safely away from the work area during fitting.

5. Guarantee

Every installation is backed by a 12-month guarantee covering workmanship, materials and glass. Frames, sealed units and powder-coat finishes carry a 12-month manufacturer guarantee, passed through and registered in your name. Specific warranty terms are confirmed in writing on your quotation.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel without charge within 14 days of signing the quotation under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, except where bespoke goods have already been put into production at your written instruction. Cancellations after that point may incur reasonable costs already committed.

7. Payment

Balance payment is due on completion (typically within 1–5 days). Payment is by bank transfer only — we do not accept cash or cheques. Interest may be charged on overdue balances under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or for any matter for which liability cannot lawfully be limited under UK consumer law.

9. Building regulations

Where the works are notifiable under the Building Regulations, the appropriate Building Control notification will be discussed and confirmed in writing on your quotation.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
